Outcome
- Pulley will continue to participate in Special Olympics Basketball and Best Buddies. Pulley will also initiate and start other after school activities in the fall and/or spring for additional social activities for our students. By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, Pulley will have participated in Special Olympics Basketball, Best Buddies, at least 3 student -focused community activities, and run a minimum of 10 after school student activities focused on movement.
Strategies
- Increase student engagement and voice to improve school climate and provide additional student's social opportunities.
- Sort Staff Volunteers Into Teams
- Pulley Leadership Team will meet and plan with both Special Olympics and Best Buddies staff volunteers
Students demonstrating self-regulation attention skills
Outcome
- CLT leads were appointed by the principal. CLT leads will develop a common agenda with the Pulley Leadership Team and take meeting notes. CLT leads will meet monthly to establish the monthly CLT meeting agendas.
Strategies
- Establish monthly CLT lead meeting with Pulley Leadership
- Establish common agendas and each CLT will have notes for Pulley leadership to review
Student academic inclusion and engagement
Outcome
- All students will receive direct instruction on the 22 Workplace Readiness Skills objectives by the end of the school year.
Strategies
- CLT's will have regular discussions on the WRS content, along with how to differentiate
- All teachers will post agenda items / WRS items clearly for students to see
- Teachers will include WRS vocabulary during community based activities
