Congratulations to Ms. Heather Frei, Ms. Alejandra Navarrete, and Mr. Michael Symanski on their recognition as the September 2024 FCPS CARES Region 3 Recipients of the Month, presented by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

The FCPS CARES Program allows parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story below so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees.

Below is the write-up submitted by a Pulley Career Center parent.

My daughter is a recent graduate of Pulley Career Center. Despite no longer being an actively enrolled student, Michael Symanski, ETR, and the Pulley staff have continued supporting and aiding her in her transition. With their help and guidance over the last couple of weeks, she has been able to get a job that she is enjoying. We hit roadblocks in our attempts, and when I reached out to Mr. Symanski, he did not hesitate to help us. He and other staff, Heather Frei and Ali Navarette, all reached out to ensure we had all the information we needed and offered continued support. Pulley Career Center was a blessing to our daughter throughout her time there and continues to be a blessing after she has gone. The entire staff at Pulley deserves to be recognized for the caring support of our most vulnerable young adults.
